The museum is home to over one hundred years of American printing history. It is the only museum dedicated to the preservation, study, production and printing of wood type. It exhibits the equipment necessary to make and print wood type and hot metal type, tools of the craft, and a collection of over 1.5 million pieces of wood type. We offer interesting displays, a gallery space, and hands-on workshops available for letterpress printing. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for seniors, children under 12, military, or veterans.
